The renovations really opened up the space. It is a bright open space with great children's programs

I don't usually make any reviews or comments in the web. Believe me I have been to almost 50% of the libraries here in Toronto, nothing had made me captivated. But when I saw this library, it left me mesmerized by the ambiance, spaciousness and quietness of the place!! I just soooo love it. To the staff, Keep it up guys! xoxo :D

One of the smaller library branches but the staff are friendly and there is a good selection of both reading material and computer access.

It is one of the smallest Toronto libraries. Its full of kids and its a cacaphony usually. There is a quiet room if you really need solitude.

The library is full of kids above 10. They make so much noise and all they do is playing games on computers. If you have work on computer you have to wait for long and you can't considerate if you want to write something. The quite room is good if it is not busy for playing games on projector.

Although the Dawes Road Library does not have the largest selection of materials, they are still in the system and a person can order anything they want. What they do have are great Librarians who will bend over backwards to help you. Where would we be without you?

They just got elevators upgraded. Very nice place for study and close to subway. If they have longer hours on Sunday that would be better.

Good place to study. Usually not extremely quiet though. Ideal for shorter visits.

Always packed. Good selection of books and services for patrons. Would be nice if the furniture was a bit cleaner and the washrooms a whole lot more! Cleanest ones are on the top level.

Everything is perfect. Great area to study. It will be better if they could change the chairs in quiet study area. Chairs are out of wood and hard now.

Great library holds lots of workshops for all ages, (loved the haunted house, the children did a great job!) children's section is very nice too, children can draw, color, look at books and play with educational toys! Hope all libraries are like this or better :)

It's a bit noisy since being close to the street. Lots of cars pass by. Last time I saw a Nissan GTR Nismo. Today I just saw a Ferrari 458. Worst part is people who modify their Civics. Especially, the windows in the base level need better isolation! update: the window starts to rattle when there is a loud car driving by

A nice place with good staff There are three things you must know about this branch: 1- there is always a lot of noise, so it is better to have ear plug or earmuff for concentration. 2-in the case of returning CDs or DVDs, ask the staff to check that is not in a bad condition. 3-open time is variable and very limited, before going there please check the closure hours.

We have been to the Toronto Public Library - Danforth/Coxwell Library a couple times to get DVD's. The staff is super helpful and it's a very good environment to study and read. We found that it was very big and had a large collection - A Richard Trus review

Great. Only issue is it can be noisy, but that's expected from a public library.

Good place to read, a very wide selection of books and many places to study. Don't be reliant on the computers on the kids floor, the're full nearly from opening to closing.

Very nice library. Not too crowded, you can usually find a seat or desk. Helpful staff and the place is usually clean. only downside is illiterate immigrants trigger an extremely loud alarm on the fire exit every couple of hours... also if you're a clean person: use the upstairs washrooms on the 4th floor, the other washrooms are usually pretty gross.
