In my experience at Centennial College, I have observed and witnessed prejudices not only from fellow students but from faculty members such as gatekeepers of facilities, and member of the student associations.

Centennial College appears to be just another money-grab institution. I know of a person who complained against incompetent behaviour of some of the staff, and he was told my one of the Resolutions advisors, “Why are you here?”.

There are a few incompetent teachers at Centennial who are guilty of favouritism toward young women. As a young strong man I receive little to no help from teachers or e-mail response. If you are going to school through Second Career do not go to Centennial, as soon as my funding is up I’ll be taking my credits to George Brown.

waste of money for international student. Racist professors including whole department of engineering’s authorities. They are just doing business not an educational institute. All my worst words goes to this department of the college. Professors are uneducated people. Looks like students are teaching them. There is no one to listen to something happening wrong with students. No services are better here. I wasted my 3 years in this worst college of Toronto. I know i am not going to get my money back. I would never recommend this Business to eat others money. In one word It is a big ” JOKE ” on a name of education.

So I’m at progress campus, and unfortunately I had to miss weeks of classes, I have been emailing my coordinators non stop to let them know whats up. But no form of reply or anything. Like what’s the point of having an email to correspond to with your instructors to inform them of emergencies if they won’t even look at your emails , because its not worthy. I am very annoyed, worried, and frustrated. Idomt know if I’m going overboard but what can I do. I left voicemail for the Bussiness coordinator or w.e but did not call back or anything. Smh I feel like I am writing to a brick wall, I feel like giving up . my situation that has made me not able to go to classes is non life threatening and I’m not I’ll, but does this mean I shouldn’t be given a chance to catch up on missed work. Missing classes is beyond my control. And if I could bring my child to the classes I would. Because it seems like only if your sick and dying that’s when or maybe your emails would be replied to.

Torontoized women are some of the worst breed of women on the planet. Some of the female professors purposely arrive to classes in cleavage tops and leg-baring attire, yet if a male student tries to pay attention to the board, they start giving out hostile vibes as if the male student seksually harassed her. I have no issue with the male professors in Toronto because they don’t dress as if they are singles in an adult bar or as an escort. Torontoized women are becoming so desperate for attention that they start to dress down and show cleavage when she is fully aware that she is supposed to be in front of a classroom. However, any undesirable male student is automatically confronted with bad body language by those female professors, but the female teachers in Toronto should know that dressing like an escort will give them the impression that they are hookers, but to be frankly honest, a stripper will not present herself so indecently if she knows she is teaching..Well maybe a few who are feminatzis, but strippers have integrity and proper social skills than these female Toronto professors!

If you’re an international student and you’re paying exorbitant fees for tuition just to see an incompetent Canadian cleavage professor femi-natzi, then you’re getting RIPPED OFF. Canadian education is a JOKE. They hire women based on how provocative they dress to teach in class rather than what they can contribute to society. Toronto is one of the most femi-natzi cities in the world, so expect a majority of women to hate men. Centennial College even has all of those anti-rape posters plastered across the campus as if there was an epidemic of violent rapists on campus. Those flyers and posters are only there to spread hysteria. You will also be surprised when the love of your life, a woman, from your home country suddenly starts to resent you and hate you after attending classes from a miserable feminatzi professor who wants to dress like a street walker to class because that is what women’s empowerment is all about in Canada. Many of the colleges in Toronto are also boring as compared to the campus life in the States.

The Good: Good gym facilities, fair tuition costs, new computers and some newly renovated spaces. The Bad: HORRIBLE parking facilities and parking pass methods. Run down hallways and lockers, Useless and unfriendly security and parking attendants. Unfriendly front line staff to help with general information and general campus uses. Food choices on campus are redundant at best. Food and convenience store prices are over inflated. School is good for going to class and learning and studying, however there is really no student life or culture so take it for what it is.

Below Average college. As other reviewers are saying STAFF IS HORRIBLE. They don't treat you like human. for them you are just piece of Garbage. I don't get it why STAFF is so rude, no matter where you go...first of all, you are spending so much money to come to school and top of it you have to deal with bullshit. Café really SUCKSSSS...Especially SUBWAY inside campus. This is ONLY location in GTA who don't accept coupons. Whoever running that Subway sandwich bar is really STUPID. You Think students are making any money while they are going to school??? what a worse customer service at café ..... STAY AWAY!!!!

Why is it that the staff at the International Office never respond to emails or pick up their calls or even return your calls when you drop messages? I personally have been trying to reach someone in the international office as regards to deferment of a program someone registered for. No one responds, no one says anything. This is very un-professional and shows that the school doesn't really care about international students or what they are going through. However, once you want to pay school fees, someone is always available to respond to you. This is really terrible and sad and you are just toiling with people's lives.

This is the best college I have ever been. I was in the Business Administration program. The professors were very helpful and give extra time to students. It took only 1 month for me to get hired after my graduation. The college prepared me for job interviews and also helped me in job application. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Do not attend centennial college. Absolutely the worst school. Stay away from their software Engineering programs. Most professors are rude, do not care for their students, or should not be teaching in the first place. Computers are horrendous, always slow, missing software or just unable to connect to school networks. Programs are put together horribly, with many redundancies and labs and assignments that make no sense in doing. Different professors will cover different material and test on different things. Worst of all is the administration. It is so blatantly incompetent I don't understand how this school is still running. Do yourself a favor and goto George brown, Humber, Sheridan etc,and stay away from this God awful school

In September 2015 I signed up for an FFIC distance learning course to commence in Feb 2016. When Feb rolled around, I could not access course materials on the site. After a few weeks, I called Administration and after some run-around, they admitted to cancelling the course by accident and failed to notify me. I asked to move the course to Fall 2016 instead. Administration asked for me to pay the difference (!!), so I escalated to Dean Michell DeCoste. Decoste said I should see the registration by June 2016 into the course with no additional fees. I was satisfied. Until August rolled around. I have yet to be enrolled and have not received any communications from Administration. My attempts to connect with them have not been successful. I am so disappointed in this College.

I from Somalia. I first come to college to use washroom. Very good, very clean. I use first time toilet paper. Back home, we use hands to clean the bum. I study something. Very easy. I learn to count and do the ABD's. Teacher say I smart for Somalian. I think she wants to be my wife. I like white girls at college. But only white girls from Scarborough, they are like white trash. I take back home three of them. One for wife, one for making money and one for my goat. He lonely. Exam coming soon, I cheat, don't tell. I wants to be doctor but if I fail, I become rapper like my cousin, The Weeknd. He say "He gets all the white girls". I like him. Centennial collage number one. When I go home, I tell my friends, who are pirates, that college get you white trash girls and good education. Ok, I go get welfare. Bye.

Currently Enrolled in the Mech. Eng. Design advanced diploma program, the teachers teaching the core courses are brilliant, They all have field experience and are committed to your success and have connections and offer assistance when it comes time to graduate. the teachers that teach the electives and irrelevants are the issue. The food is crap, the only thing that is worth spending your money on is pizza from caf and fries from the hot dog cart. the only thing this program doesn't prepare you for that you should be familiar with is SolidWorks.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE HVAC/R PROGRAM !!! This campus is the worst for trades. Not sure about the business and culinary programs, but 70% of the courses have NOTHING to do with Heating Refrigeration and A/C . Teachers do not know their stuff, only the lab teachers are exceptional. The math 101 has nothing to do with hvac . Learning computer arithmetic and what not. GNED courses are over the top. If you are a trades person and do not like too many books or essays .. CENTENNIAL IS NOT FOR YOU !!!! I've failed the mandatory GNED 212 Morals and ethics 2 times, as well as the GNED 500 Global citizenship (required for everyone ) 3 times. Biggest waste of money. If you can go to George Brown or a private college, do it. AVOID CENTENNIAL COLLEGE PROGRESS IF YOU CAN!! the low prices are deceiving.

This is a college that offers many diplomas to upgrade your existing skill set (court clerk, law clerk, paralegal) or general interest courses (machinery, motocycle.) The professors are experts in their field but most importantly, personable and caring about their students. The administrative staff is helpful and patient with queries.

Worst college. I regret going to this school and wasted over 3 years attending this school. Professors don't care about you and do not teach you properly. Let me say again, the professors are the worst teachers! Out of the 3 years I had 2 good profs. Staff are rude and ignorant and you will be treated as a number at best. After this experience I wish I never went to college at all.

Cant say it was great experience. Although, it was not bad. Some teachers a really great and dedicated. Some are reading slides which they made by copying a book. Some of the good teachers cant get enough hours to teach and most should not teach at all. If any one thinks to go to Paralegal program there - think again. Pick another college. Enroll into 2 year program. Change you mind going into law if you want to go to Centennial. They will ruin you expectations of law profession. Quality of education is poor. Workload is very high. Out of all my course there were only 4 teachers that taught me well. Just don't go there for Paralegal. Other professions/courses cannot tell. Not good food court - poor choice of meals. No room to study. Parking is expensive and no room to park.

Horrible school, professors are a joke and the staff are incompetent and cannot do anything right. I applied for Centennials Computer Technician program and I have to say, this college is disorganized at emailing applicants. Nonetheless, I disregarded the lack of emails the college sent and thought maybe they were busy. I went to the welcome orientation and everything was fine. I met my professors and they described the courses as well as the needed equipment to each student and everything was fine. The following Tuesday when school began on September 6th, 2016, the professors started discussing matters that were completely irrelevant to what they told us in the orientation and they were telling us to bring in supplies that were never mentioned to us in the orientation. When I asked why these topics and supplies weren't presented to us in the orientation, the professors became rude and told me, along with multiple other students that we weren't listening and that the professor supposedly even sent us an email regarding the tools and supplies we needed. I showed the professors my school email and they claimed that I deleted the email yet I had a full inbox of emails from 6 months prior to that school day that weren't deleted and my deleted section of my email was empty. At this point I was upset and consulted my program Coordinator and told them about my issue and they said "we can't do much about it, check your email" really?!?! I have sent in my withdrawal form last thursday and never am I going to return to such a lazy and rude educational facility such as centennial again. Humber Lakeshore is my next choice as I have friends attending the school and say that it is the best college they have attended.

The ABSOLUTE WORST school I have ever attended for post secondary education. Customer service is horrible, the employees at the "hub" don't even know how to properly assist you. I was placed in a completely unrelated program from the program I wanted to be in and had previously attended the semester before.. HOW THE HELL DOES A SCHOOL THAT HAS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS UNDER THEIR BELT MAKE A MISTAKE LIKE THAT!?! practically every single employee their is incompetent and I have no idea how they are employed. I enjoyed the Law Clerk program for the most part, but definitely not a school worth going to. RUN WHILE YOU CAN! You will definitely kick yourself for picking this school. I know I am....
